Ingredients (for 2 medium pizzas):
- 500 g flour (type 500 or pizza flour “00”)
- 300 ml lukewarm water
- 1/2 cube of yeast (20 g) or 1 sachet of dry yeast
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
Procedure:
- Dissolve the yeast and sugar in lukewarm water, leave for 5–10 minutes to foam.
- Add flour, salt and oil.
- Knead a smooth dough and knead it for 5–10 minutes.
- Let rise, covered (1–2 hours) until doubled in volume.
- Roll out on a floured surface into a baking dish shape.
